Launch of Laudato Si, ‘Care for our Common Home’ will take place on Tuesday 28th July at 7.30 p.m. in The Tower Hotel, Waterford. Fr. We hope as many as possible will come to hear Sean, whose life and work has been dedicated to raising awareness of the threat of climate change and environmental destruction.

The Bishop has sent us some copies of the Encyclical. These are available in the Sacristy at €4 (Four Euro) per copy.

National Eucharistic Congress 2015

This Sunday and for the next four Sundays, the Gospel readings will be from the 6th Chapter of St. John’s Gospel which is about the “Bread of Life”, the Holy Eucharist. These reading will help us to prepare for the National Eucharistic Congress which will take place at Knock on September 26th and 27th. The theme of the Congress is: “Christ Our Hope” (Col 1:27).

It would be great if we could have a couple of volunteers to promote the Eucharistic Congress in our Parish and to liaise with the Diocese and with the other Parishes in Clonmel. Perhaps a Pilgrimage to Knock can be organised for one of those days.

Please pray and think about this, and then contact Fr. Hegarty or the Parish Office.
