Clonmel Craft Club will resume activities in the Parish Centre on this Monday 5th September at 10.00 a.m. after their summer break.

 

Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) A Meeting of the PPC will take place in the Priests’ House on Monday 5th September at 8.00 p.m.  New members always welcome.

 

Stroke Support Group Meeting for encouragement, support and advice for stroke survivors, family members and carers will take place at St. Oliver’s Parish Centre this Tuesday evening 6th September at 8 p.m. Contact: Gemma 087-9129263.

 

World Suicide Prevention Day To mark World Suicide Prevention Day a candle will be lit at the Vigil Mass on Saturday 10th September and at the two Sunday Masses in St. Oliver’s Church. This is to remember all those who have died by suicide and their families.

 

Blessing of School Bags for all primary school children. There will be a blessing of school bags at the weekend Parish Masses on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September.

 

National Grandparents Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Knock Shrine, Knock, Co. Mayo (celebrating 10th Anniversary) will take place next Sunday 11th September at 2.30 p.m. with Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. 3.00 p.m. Pilgrimage Mass followed by Rosary. Diocesan Communications Day Ms. Brenda Drumm from the National Communications Office, Maynooth will present input on how best to use Website, Facebook and Twitter to help promote the work that we do through Parish and Diocese on Saturday 17th September at St. John’s Pastoral Centre, Waterford from 10.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Please book your place at 051-874199 before 5 p.m. on Wednesday 14th September.

 

Eucharistic Adoration The Adoration Committee of Waterford and Lismore is developing its Diocesan Team. You are welcome to attend an Information Meeting in Hotel Minella, Clonmel on Saturday September 17th at 11.00 a.m. (finishing at 12.30 p.m.). Refreshments served. St. Vincent de Paul Monthly Collection will take place after all Masses this weekend Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September.

 

Congratulations to Sandra Wall and Larry McGrath who were married in St. Oliver’s Church last weekend.

 

Welcome into our Christian Community William Sean Burns and Dylan John Norris and who were baptised last weekend.

 

Saint Pio Prayer Group will take place on Monday 5th September in St. Mary’s Church, Irishtown, Clommel. Rosary & prayers at 6.30 p.m. Mass at 7.00 pm for all petitions placed in the basket on the altar. All welcome.

 

The Clonmel and District Wheelchair Society will be collecting door to door in Clonmel for the month of September.

The Sisters of Mary Morning Star will be leaving us early on Tuesday morning.  As they return to their Communities, we thank them for their prayerful and cheerful presence among us.
On Monday during the final hour of the Parish Eucharistic Adoration, the sisters will conduct a Prayer Service with singing etc.
