An Angel Spoke Through My Darkness Open my eyes, O Jesus Lord!
An angel spoke through my darkness:
“Clothe your soul with light
and you will find the day,
Christ Jesus.”
Open my eyes, O Jesus Lord!
An angel spoke through my pain:
“Clothe your soul with patience
and you will find peace,
Christ Jesus.”
Open my eyes, O Jesus Lord!
An angel spoke through my agony:
“Clothe your soul with confidence
and you will find rest,
Christ Jesus.”
Open my eyes, O Jesus Lord!
An angel spoke through my dying:
“Clothe your soul in life
and you will find eternity,
Christ Jesus.
Open my eyes, O Jesus Lord!
