Catholic Schools Week 2015

Theme “Catholic Schools: Called to Serve”

Service is in 5 Ways:  LOVE, KINDNESS, JOY,TRUTH, JUSTICE

We pray with the children in our Schools:

Loving God, as we gather today we thank you for your presence with us. Help us in our school community to be grateful for all the ways in which we are blessed in our teaching and our learning. May we become more and more like your son Jesus who by his words and actions showed us your unconditional love for all people. May we learn to be like him, trusting in you and reaching out to those around us. May your Holy Spirit be the source of inspiration and wisdom as we pray together in faith.  We make this prayer through Christ Our Lord.  Amen.

Lord God, thank you for the opportunities to learn that we have, in school, at home and in the parish community. Thank you for all who help us to learn; the staff of our school, our parents, our families and friends, our priests, parish workers and all the people in the community. Help us to always be the best we can be. We ask this through Christ Our Lord.  Amen.
