EUCHARISTIC ADORATION Our Parish Eucharistic Adoration takes place each week on Monday from 2.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. (except when Monday is a Church Holiday or a Public Holiday).

The Pro Life Campaign will be holding a public information meeting on Wednesday 28th January in Hayes Hotel, Thurles at 8.00 p.m. The meeting will be addressed by Caroline Simons of the Pro life Campaign and will update the public on the current situation as regards the protection of the unborn and their mothers and present an opportunity to get involved as a volunteer. St. Oliver’s Parish Finance Council (PFC)
The PFC has the task of monitoring and advising re the finances of the parish. The members seek to ensure that the parish has sufficient funds for ordinary and capital expenditure and to meet commitments to the Diocese. The PFC members at this time are: Jimmy Moloney, Joan Brett, Mary Butler, Leo Fitzgerald, Dermot McCabe and Michael Hegarty PP. Any of these members may be contacted through the Parish Office. The PFC meets when necessary, but at least three times a year.

Loving God, as we gather today we thank you for your presence with us. Help us in our school community to be grateful for all the ways in which we are blessed in our teaching and our learning. May we become more and more like your son Jesus who by his words and actions showed us your unconditional love for all people. May we learn to be like him, trusting in you and reaching out to those around us. May your Holy Spirit be the source of inspiration and wisdom as we pray together in faith. Lord God, thank you for the opportunities to learn that we have, in school, at home and in the parish community. Thank you for all who help us to learn; the staff of our school, our parents, our families and friends, our priests, parish workers and all the people in the community.
