Our New Bishop
Let us pray for Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan that the Holy Spirit will give him the courage and strength to guide us.
This is the Prayer composed by the Confirmation Classes in St. Oliver’s and read by PAIGE RYAN, who represented our Parish at the Ordination of Bishop Alphonsus.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for the life you have given me. As I step further into my future, give me the knowledge, courage, wisdom, right judgement, wonder and awe in God’s presence, reverence and understanding to live as you want me to. Remind me that on my path through life, you will journey with me and that you will never lead me into anything that you won’t lead me through. Thank you for sending the Holy Spirit at Confirmation to guide me. My thanks to you will be how I live my life. Amen.
