Catholic Schools Week 2016  –  Sunday 31st January – Saturday 6th February

Catholic Schools – Challenged to proclaim God’s Mercy

Dear God,
Help us to be open to the challenge of proclaiming your mercy in the modern world.  Guide our schools to be rooted in your example. Open our hearts to reflect your loving mercy in all we do, and inspire us to be brave in answering the call to ‘proclaim your mercy’.

As we journey through this week, strengthen us to reignite the Catholic ethos upon which our schools were formed. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.   Amen.

Catholic Schools Week 2016

Beatitudes for the Adolescent

Happy are the quiet, for they will enjoy all things.

Happy are the reflective, for they will experience God’s mercy.

Happy are the sensitive, for they will be in tune with society.

Happy are those who seek justice, for they will be rewarded.

Happy are those who forgive, for they will be forgiven.

Happy are those who are selfless, for they will bepraised.

Happy are the peacemakers, for they are examples to us all.

Happy are those who stand up for others, for they will have light in their lives.
