EUCHARISTIC ADORATION  Our Parish Eucharistic Adoration takes place each week Monday from 2.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. (except when Monday is a Public Holiday).

 

Congratulations to Sister Mary Muckley RSM who celebrated the Golden Jubilee of her Religious Profession recently (1964-2014). We wish her many more years of faithful service.

Gorta Self Help Africa will hold a Church Gate Collection after all Masses on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August.

 

World Suicide Prevention Day is observed on September 10th each year to promote worldwide action to prevent suicide.  To mark the day, this year, there will be a Mass in St. Oliver’s Church at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 10th September. 

Community Suicide Awareness Workers (C-Saw) will be helping to organise the Mass. All those who have been bereaved by suicide, and all those interested in prompting awareness around suicide are especially invited.

 

Clonmel Community Resource Centre will be marking World Suicide Prevention Day, Wednesday 10th September with various events. There will be a balloon release, information from different groups available on the day, kiddies story time and play area, tea, coffee, cakes and savouries will be available free. All are welcome to attend from 10.00 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.

 

Living Well with Arthritis Course will take place at Clonmel Community Resource Centre, Kickham St. on Tuesdays from 16th September to 21st October from 7.00 p.m. – 9.30 p.m. Cost: Online booking – €30 (medical card holders €22) Offline €36 (medical card holders €26).
